Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. That day will be a very important day in your life; all day will be about love, feelings, family and friends; there will be expressions of happiness, there will be a lot of hugs, the people will be laughing, yelling, someone is going to weep with emotions, could be you, your future husband, you mom, your daddy or your sister. It is the time when you leave your parent's house or your own house to start sharing your life with your loved one and start together a new family, a new life. At the end of the day all will be gone, ended, and become the past, and there will be only one thing that will make you go back to that time, and that will help you remember all the good things as they were: THE PICTURES.

That is the reason you must select a good photographer with experience, that has the ability to see all the feelings and emotions in the people, and how people react to something, and get all those expressions captured forever in digital format, on paper or in photo-books, as your irreplaceable wedding memories. There is nothing worse than see a very unhappy bride who made the wrong decision to hire a photographer just because they were cheaper, or made the decision to use a friend or family member as a photographer, and the results were less than desired.

Lifestyle Family Photography

Have you heard about Lifestyle Family Photography? well, here is the definition from Wikipedia: "Lifestyle photography is a style of photography which aims to portray real-life situations in a controlled setting. Lighting is bright, airy and natural-looking."

Even though the common location is your house, you can suggest other locations where you usually go such as a park, country club, street, etc. When I am already at the location, I ask the client about the regular things they do at home, such as watch TV, reading books, family time at living room, play with the kids, cooking, fix the cars, pray at the table, sleep the kids, pray with kids at bed, etc.

Based on that information, I suggest the client to start with some of those activities and I start taking pictures; it is very important to have the client and family relaxed.

I, personally, use natural light to get the ambiance light smooth and restrict the use of flash. You can see my pictures at www.photoweddingphotography.com

I am excited to launch my new enhanced website for my visitors to navigate and discover all services and products I offer on a very smooth and easy way.

I have modified the whole structure of the site; the header of the home page has been designed in Flash in order to take advantage of the pictures capabilities of this program to run beautiful slide show of my pictures. The body of the home page and the rest of the pages, have been designed by using the advantages that HTML has to handle Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

What a wonderful couple!!!!
My work started three days before the wedding. I visited the places where the wedding was going to take place such as the bride's mother's house where she would be getting ready; then, at few blocks away was the Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, which is located on the corner of Phillippe Pkwy and Enterprise Rd. There were some restrictions for photographers, but I had no problem with the light since the church was naturally illuminated. Also, I visited Rusty Pelican Restaurant at Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, where the reception was offered. This is a beautiful place, waterside with very cozy areas to take pictures for weddings.

Amparo and I arrived early at Janice's mother house when she was still with her beauty lady, her wonderful mother who was well dressed, and kindly offered us coffee that we enjoyed while meeting her and the bridesmaid. Later on, I started taking pictures to her dress, shoes, their invitation card, her mom, and her bridesmaid.

Kristin and Chris Wedding by Viva Expressions Photography

July 26, 2008

This wedding took place in St. Pete. at Pass-A-Grille Community Church. The church is beautiful; a lot of colored glasses, very cozy, ideal for taking romantic pictures.

Some restrictions for photographers and videographers; the closest line to get pictures is counting from the back, six benches toward the front and no flash is allowed during the ceremony, so it was a kind of difficult to get close ups to the couple getting married, even though I had lenses with a very wide aperture as the Nikon 70-200 mm- 2.8/f and the Nikon Wide angle 17-55mm- 2.8/f and Nikon 50mm- 1.4/f.

The reception took place at St. Pete. Beach Community Center. The couple has four children; she has two boys and he has one boy and a girl; they were in action all the time, giving us the opportunity to get good shots all the time.

I told Kristin that her wedding was one of the most beautiful events that I have attended. The best wishes for Kristin, Chris, and their family.
